About this Course and What You'll Learn
School 101
To be successful in an academic task, students need to both know what to do and be able to sustain to the task. This means that students need to see/hear expectations being modeled and have the opportunity within the task to re-engage if they become distracted. In terms of modeling, there are two important things to remember. As an educator, we want to model the skills and concepts but we also want to model our expectations for how we expect the students to engage with the material and with their peers in order to attend to the content.
